![]() ![]() For the kinect option, you can't mute on the fly in the case you are talking to someone else in the room. Note: For the time being, I am using the kinect for party chat and my desktop version of skype to communicate with friends. After spending quite a bit of time on this, I am at a loss. Xbox One controller with Stereo Headset Adapater -> 4-pole 3.5 mm cord -> Speaker Out (Green) on soundcard -> Under Microphone in Sound (Control Panel) enable "Listen to this device" and playback through "Speakers (2-High Definition Audio Device)" Here's my setup that I *thought* would work to get chat via the headset: ![]() Since I am using a standard monitor that does not have any sort of audio output, I had to use this setup which works just fine. Xbox One optical out -> Digital to Analog Converter -> RCA to 3.5mm cord -> Line In (Blue) on soundcard (Desktop) -> Under Line In in Sound (Control Panel) enable "Listen to this device" and playback through "Speakers (Logitech G930 Headset)" ![]() Here's my setup to get in game sound to the headset: I can't find much on this subject via Google so I'm reaching out to this community in hopes that someone has enough audio experience to help me get this headset's microphone working with the Xbox One. ![]()
